Background:  After 31 Years Working with the Interior Design Trade in Seattle, Artisanaworks (in the beginnings, Carol Tate Company) Relocated to the Texas Hill Country in 2002.  Commencing with a Formal Education in Fine Arts/Painting, Followed by Years Involved  in Textile Arts and Surface Design, then on to Interior Accessories, Furniture Design and Custom Fabrication, Tate Brings an Art/Design Base to the World of Fabrics and Textiles, and Hence to Their Use as “Artful Adornment”.   A Lifetime of Pattern Drafting and Sewing, has Yielded an Extreme Knowledge of the Appropriate Applications and Uses of Fabrics, as well as Expert Soft Goods Fabrication.

The Workroom:  Located in the Texas Hill Country, the Custom Sewing Workroom Offers it’s Services to the Public as well as to the Design Trade. All Work is Performed by Carol Tate, Owner.
